Consider the comments below as a DRAFT. These concepts will be embodied in later writing, but perhaps not explicitly.
Dilemma
A potential for confusion exists as we try to understand divinity and being created in the image of a divinity. Almost no one reading this classifies people as divine. A part of the definition of divinity is “worthy of worship.” To what extent are we mortal humans? To what extent can we do “greater things” as Jesus said?
(Joh 14:12-14 NIV) Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Free Will and Randomness
Recent debates among physicists on randomness suggest that it may be elusive. By this, we mean that not everyone is convinced that random events exist in the universe. A truly random event is one that humankind will never be able to predict. Could there be a variable that unlocks our understanding of prediction? So, for a moment, let us do a thought experiment and say that there will come a day when all events in the universe can be predicted. But does that take away a person’s free choice, to obey God or not? I think not. We must remain vigilant against the temptation to confuse the eternal part of us with the current world, nicely described by science.
The Unborn
If God looks upon the heart, that part of us that is eternal and can be oriented toward God or away from him by our choice, then every human at every part of our existence is in a dynamic state of compliance with God. To state it another way, learn from yesterday’s mistakes and make a plan to do better today.
Here is where Christian music must be reexamined. Is there a future where we will know that music theory fully explains what happens to us when we worship God through it? I strongly think not. Yet there exist some theories that can be reliably demonstrated (for the most part) of the effect of music on us. Now is the time to remind ourselves that we do not use science to understand the supreme Being who created all. Here is where we shift to a more profound topic, inching toward the holy of holies. As you move forward in your faith, does your current understanding of God and the believer allow for an experience in this life that gives you a sense of being a friend of God? Or was that only for Moses?
There is a new tune in the world now that will move some of us forward in our Christian faith, specifically the worship of God. This has nothing to do with music theory, which musicians learn in their study of how music can affect our emotions. Music theory is a product of this world. There is something else going on. There is an interplay between the supernatural, the believer, and this world.
As we listen to one another, we may be gifted a key that unlocks something new to us. Have you considered whether Adam and Eve utilized the gifts of the Spirit as described in the New Testament? Now, let us extricate ourselves from that philosophical question and try to get a sense of the spirit or Spirit which would have been involved for them. HE is the same Spirit for us. The work of the Spirit serves a practical purpose in our world. In Adam and Eve’s world, the Holy Spirit would have also served a purpose, but before the fall, it was probably different from what it is for us.
Are you too busy? Cooperating with nature is your first step toward balance. Receive the gift of the sabbath, it was made for us. Be kind to nature, and I think you will be rewarded. Do not think of God as far away, which is so easy to do when we are operating in negative time (not getting done what we need to when it needs to be done).
Hang in there; you’re exactly where you are meant to be. I can’t emphasize that enough. You are where you are for a purpose. Read the Bible, pray, and congregate in the name of Jesus. For as much as it is up to you, have an attitude of humbleness before God, awe, as if a child who adores their father, their Heavenly Father.

No Way Out
Fight, Freeze, or Flight
Abstract
Christians are in the world but not part of it. As such, there are many possible sources of stress. This article offers an idea to trust God indirectly. This non-intuitive technique does not focus on the stress factor but on God.
Introduction
Sometimes, there seem to be more reasons to live in fear and worry than to be relaxed, doing what we can, and trusting that the rest will work out.
Burdened

Burdened
We all have burdens from time to time. Sometimes, the burden is heavy and overwhelming; we cannot foresee a good way out. This is where a friend or prayer partner is helpful. The Bible speaks highly of good friends.
(Pro 18:24 GNB) Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more loyal than brothers.
Some believers regularly schedule time in prayer. Nearly all believers turn to God when their burden is too heavy for them to carry. Mr. Berdind Beleever, hereafter Mr. B, has heavy burdens. He has accepted tasks in several areas of life with the best of intentions, although he has yet to learn how he could accomplish some. Additionally, Mr. B has felt confident in his ability to make things better in other areas. But his belief and sincere intention only sometimes coincide, falling short of his hoped-for outcome. So Mr. B struggles to cope with the burdens, which seem to grow heavier. Mr. B needs help. One afternoon, he goes to a place of prayer. He knows God can help, and with a tear or two, he cries out to Jesus for help. He has chosen to trust in God and act on the following verse to the best of his ability.

In the Garden 2
The Garden of Eden Articles One and Two
About the Eden Articles
- In the Garden-1: Being Adam, this informal article offers an idea about what it may have felt like to be Adam before the first sin was committed.
- In The Garden-2a, Loving Adam introduces a method of reasoning that may be useful for anybody, but in particular for anyone feeling conflicted about the faith.
- In the Garden-2b. If parts of Genesis contain strong proof of God’s love of Adam, then what is one way we should understand the love of God? This is a “work in progress” (WIP) and may be split off as a standalone article in Conflicted.
- In the Garden-3, Sin in the Garden. This is in the Conflicted part of the website but since it is a WIP (Work in Progress) it may be reworked.
God’s Affection for Adam
How we treat our children will influence what they are like as adults.

The Garden of Eden Articles One and Two
About the Eden Articles
- In the Garden-1, Being Adam: this informal article offers an idea about what it may have felt like being Adam before the first sin was committed.
- In the Garden-2, Loving Adam: a few clues in Genesis may be used as evidence that God loved Adam.
Being Adam
What did it feel like to Adam when he was together with God?
Sometimes, we see something in the Bible that appears extraordinary and important, but we do not understand it. Whatever it means, we can’t make use of it.

Preface
A previous weblog (blog), “messiah,” became an article. After carefully considering the article, it coalesced into two subjects: advice to all Christians active in the faith and cult error. This website is intended for Christians eager to move forward. This website is not intended to comment on cult errors.

There is a lot that we do not know. Can we also say there is a lot that we do know?
Sometimes we know something of enduring usefulness, and at other times, temporal, like the weather forecast.
When a man or woman writes a statement, and we believe God was involved, we usually look for a need that it could fill. If we can’t find the need, many of us set it aside for now.

Jericho, Light, and You
October 5, 2023: Edit (Original Post: September 2023)
My advice to everyone, believers and unbelievers, is to find a good church and attend their main service each week. If God is involved, and I think He is, you really do not know what can happen - when He moves.
On a Sunday morning early in 2023, I sit in the audience enjoying the worship music. Regardless of how you explain worship music, it can direct our hearts and minds toward God, - - and - - lead to an authentic experience of God that is best described as worship.
