Memory Aid

Children spend hours daily in school listening, committing to memory, and acquiring new understanding. The further we are from school, the less time we spend on mental exercise, such as memory. Adults and children often have downtime when waiting in a line or relaxing. We can use this time to memorize scripture. Start small, like committing to memory the reference and the topic of the verse. The Editable Wallet Card accepts text by using commonly available free applications. Start by downloading the form. Type or paste the text into the left-hand boxes; right-hand boxes show the printout near the actual size (screen version not exact).

Note: The tri-fold card PDF was developed in LaTeX a few years ago. Browsers continue to change, and at present (March 2025), this works in MS Edge. However, text input navigation and screen updating may require a bit of experimenting.

Six-panel Cards should be considered `beta’. It is intended to offer the option of double-sided printing. Due to various technical settings, the front registration is slightly different than the back, creating a slight offset. A scale along the perimeter can be used to clarify how far off the two sides are (hold up to a bright light to the lines on each side).
